A special excursion from the magic of Volterra to the legends of Siena and San Gimignano.
In the heart of Tuscany, the small but fascinating village of Volterra is not only famous for its Etruscan past and its alabaster productions, but also for the magic atmosphere that pervades the avenues of its historical center. In Siena, the magic reigns underground in the mythic river that should run beneath the city, sought out for years in vain by the Sienese, and kept alive through tales of strange little elves. In the medieval San Gimignano, legend tells of a certain tower of the Cortesi Palace that was raised by unholy intervention, from which it gets its name Torre del Diavolo, or Tower of the Devil.
Are we not all victims of some incantation that has left us completely charmed by these marvelous places? Come and find out....
